early birthday present

This might sound a bit selfish, but just like my mum, I always buy myself a birthday present. This year I got a little doll made by the extremely talented and all-round lovely lady Hillary Lang.

my little lavender patch

I might not have a lot of outside place, but I feel really proud of my little lavender patch. It smells absolutely wonderful and it attracts bees!

I've added some dahlias to it today, grown and bought at the Horniman Gardens just next door.
Ain't I lucky?
